A BRIEF INTRODUCTION TO THE SCHOOL
Ulaanbaatar Empathy School, a school of general education, first made an intellectual investment in Mongolia’s education sector and began its educational activities in 1994, and is now marking its 31st year.
Today, Ulaanbaatar Empathy School AP, Cambridge, SAT examination centre, and offers the internationally recognized Cambridge curriculum to students in Grades 6–12. Grades 6–8: Lower Secondary (Cambridge Checkpoint) , Grades 9–10: Upper Secondary (IGCSE) , Grades 11–12: As & A Level It is delivered in combination with Mongolia’s core secondary-education curriculum, with instruction provided bilingually in Mongolian and English.
In the 2025–2026 school year, the school operates with 475 students and 44 core teachers — including 9 international teachers from India, Fiji, Kyrgyzstan, the Philippines, Turkmenistan, and elsewhere — along with 44 staff members.
In addition, since the 2023–2024 school year, elective foreign-language courses including students can choose to study Chinese, German, Russian, or Korean.
Since the 2021–2022 school year, Ulaanbaatar Empathy School has AP /Advanced Placement/ examination centre. Having gained this accreditation, the school runs an additional program in mathematics, chemistry, physics, and biology to prepare its students for these exams.
